    Ces images représentent, dans leur grande majorité, ce qui peut être vu et non ce qui doit être vu.
    Certaines inclusions montrées ici peuvent être considérées comme diagnostique (p.e. Chrysotile dans les grenats démantoïdes), mais ne seront pas citées comme telles étant donné l'impossibilité actuelle de vérifier, autrement que par l’observation et la bibliographie (1, 282, etc.), la nature exacte des inclusions (p.e. par sonde Raman).

    Nom du groupe: Nom de l'espèce minérale var. Nom de la variété
    Par exemple => Hématite: Corindon var. Saphir
    Le Saphir étant le nom d'une variété (bleue) de corindon; le corindon appartenant au groupe des Hématites
    ou
    Nom de l'espèce minérale var. Nom de la variété
    Par exemple => Chrysobéryl var. Alexandrite
    L'alexandrite etant une variété (chromifère montrant un effet de changement de couleur) de chrysobérl; le chrysobéryl n'appartenant pas a un groupe minéral particulier.
    ou encore
    Nom de l'espèce minérale
    Quand celle ci n'a ni variété ou groupe particulier.
